Attitudes, relationships, intentions and personal behavior control are all factors which influence whether children reach for junk food rather than opting for healthy snacks, such as fruit and vegetables.
A University of Cincinnati study finds intentions are a major factor behind a childs snack choices. This is driven by several variables, such as the childs attitude toward eating healthy or unhealthy foods, as well as the social or peer pressure the child feels.
While we all love to snack from time to time, we dont always go for the healthier choice, opting instead for junk food, which is high in calories but low in nutritional value.

We would not have put in a contract to build had we not been confident we could sell our current home, said Kathleen Sache, a physician who voted Republican in the 2008 presidential election but would not say who she supports this time around.
The November 6 US presidential election between President Barack Obama and presumptive Republican challenger Mitt Romney may be decided by a small number of swing states – those that could go to either man – where the health of the housing market looms large for voters as they weigh their choice.
A Reuters examination of the latest housing data in 10 states that may determine the elections outcome...

(CBS News) GREENSBORO, NC – John Edwards daughter was expected to testify Tuesday at the former senators corruption trial.
Cate Edwards would be the first family member to do so.
The defense began laying out its case Monday, shifting the focus from Edwards affair to the nuts and bolts of campaign finance law.
But the former senators lawyers suffered an immediate setback.
The judge ruled that a former election official will be allowed to take the stand, but that most of his testimony would be barred. Edwards lawyers considered some of that testimony key to his case. He was ready to say there was no crime committed.

It has been a rough series for the Los Angeles Clippers, and now they may lose more than just a key game. Both Blake Griffin and Chris Paul are hurting in a big way, and it is unclear how this will affect their status for Game 6 on May 11. It would be a very sad way for the season to end if one or both of these players were lost at this point. Even in the preseason there was talk about the injury history of both players. However, each star has stayed healthy throughout the year. Every player is a little banged up right now, but these injuries may be more than even these guys can overcome.
Who is more valuable?
Obviously each player is very valuable, but if I have...
